Manly P. Hall

Founder of the Philosophical Research Society Center (PRS) in Los Angeles, California, Manly P. Hall has been widely recognized as a leading scholar in the fields of religion, mythology, mysticism, and the occult. Hall was a close friend of the Roerich family and resident of Roerich's Master Building for a brief time. A statue of Nicholas Roerich holding the 'Treasure of the World' stands in the library at PRS, which was a gift to Hall from the Roerichs. It is widely accepted by the people of the Philosophical Research Society that Manly P. Hall was murdered and that his collection of rare and exotic books, artifacts, and original manuscripts has been squandered and pillaged by the perpetrators of his murder. In an off-the-record discussion in front of the production crew of Lapis Exillis, an undisclosed individual close to the Philosophical Research society admitted that the two individuals, who are believed to have murdered Hall, confessed to having committed the murder.
