Philosophical Research Society

The Philosophical Research Society (PRS) center in Los Angeles, California was founded by Manley P. Hall in the 1930's. At the center is an auditorium where many famous intellectuals have given lectures, and a world renowned library collection of rare esoteric books. People like Carl Jung, Helen Keller, Huston Smith, Burl Ives, and others have used the PRS library for study and research. Manly P. Hall was a friend of the Roerich family and even a former resident of the Master building while it was an art studio. Also, the University of Philosophical Research (UPR) for graduate studies, which was the ultimate dream Manly P. Hall, is located at the PRS center.[More]
